Fertile Grounds

Did you know that 26% of all waste is organic or vegetative (coffee grounds, fruits, vegetables peels, flowers, plants, grass clippings)?   And, organic waste produces the greenhouse gas, methane, which is 22% more potent than carbon. Compost will also improve soil health and reduce the need for watering. So, composting is an easy way to make a positive contribution to greener living!  For a useful guide on backyard Composting 101, click here.
